I’m excited to announce I have a book coming out in June (2027) with B&H Academic!
Have you ever had a conversation with someone from another religious background and were surprised to hear them say things that didn’t seem to match their religion? This is common, actually. What is uncommon is a model that helps a Christian working cross-culturally to clarify the complexity of an individual’s worldview in a way that prioritizes what they believe in their heart without disregarding the reality of their religious background. My book attempts to accomplish this with a process called worldview mapping. The goal is to help Christians better communicate the gospel as they navigate the reality of a world in which most people are highly influenced by overlapping and conflicting worldviews. I’m not trying to teach people to throw a strike. I’m just getting them in the ball park.
I have been teaching this process for around five years now and have received enough encouragement that I decided last year to make a proposal to B&H Academic. I’m super grateful they accepted and am excited to have turned in the final manuscript! Stay tuned…
